Throughout the years, the principals of Janx Enterprises have held leadership positions in the IT / IS areas of companies such as AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, and the United Stated Postal Service.  Our Service Oriented Enterprise offerings are a natural culmination of working with leading edge technologies over the years. SOE and SOA have grown from esoteric to exoteric, as the graceful integration of the business and it's technology has become reality, and is clearly the future of IT. If you are ready to evolve, we can put a comprehensive plan in place that demonstrates how to execute on this strategy in small, manageable steps.

Internet and e-Commerce:
In 1996 Janx Enterprises engaged in its first business venture as a web site management, consultant, and service provider for the legendary rock band Deep Purple. The relationship grew in 1998 when Deep Purple's management team requested an e-commerce storefront that would tie into their official website. The solution empowered Deep Purple's management to operate all facets of their new global distribution channel via intuitive web interfaces.

This plug-n-play software solution would provide retailers selling goods on the Internet a secure environment for order processing, inventory management, accounting services, billing, returns, and shipments. A creative services component was also added to the business model, creating shirts, movie posters, and other goods. As the business expanded, additional artists included in the artists included Dream Theater, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Bruce Hornsby, Shawn Colvin, and Stuart Smith. Although this business was disbanded after the dot com bust, it was one of the few companies of its era that closed it's doors comfortably in the black. Our business model was eventually duplicated by competitors, which still control that market segment today.
